The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of our college has been actively serving the community since its inception in 2010-11. In 2011-12, the unit earned the prestigious recognition of being ranked third among the top seven NSS units under the IHRD directorate. Beyond its flagship programs, our NSS unit takes pride in organizing a diverse range of impactful activities, including road safety awareness campaigns, expert-led discussions on various topics, medical camps, and anti-tobacco initiatives.
Guided by the NSS motto, “Personality Development Through Community Service,” our unit strives to instill a spirit of selflessness and social responsibility among students. A highlight of our initiatives is the 7-day Special Camp, conducted annually, which provides volunteers with invaluable hands-on experience in community service. These camps nurture the "Not Me, But You" philosophy, fostering empathy, teamwork, and leadership. Over the years, we have successfully organized four such special camps, each receiving immense appreciation from both the local community and the media.
- Our NSS unit continues to uphold its commitment to creating socially responsible citizens, making a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
