College of Applied Science Adoor owes its existence to the Institute of HumanResources Development (IHRD) is an autonomous educational institution established by the Government of Kerala, in 1994.

 The college is affiliated to the University of Kerala. College of Applied Science Adoor offers UG and PG Programmes like M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Com. (2 years), B.Sc. Electronics (Honours), B.Sc. Computer Science (Honours), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) (Honours), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) (Honours), B.Com. with Computer Applications (Honours), under the University of Kerala (as part of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme – FYUGP). The college also provides additional courses such as PGDCA, DCA and CCLIS Courses conducted by the Institute of Human Resources Development.

 Our motto is “Think Globally, Act Locally”. The college is situated at Adoor at a distance of 1 KM from Adoor town in a green campus.

College of Applied Sciences was established as a result of the vision to provide quality education to the rural area. The College of Applied Sciences has successfully established and maintained the apt ambience for learning and the highest level of academic performance by providing state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities in this institution, with its graduates being placed and working around the world.
